Now accepting Fall 2019 Housing Applications

Housing does not have a deadline to apply


To all prospective 2019-2020 housing residents!

Apply for Student Housing, get registered and complete your FAFSA before June 1 to be entered for a chance to win a designated SHaRE VIP parking space for the 2019-2020 academic year!

Drawing will be done at the end of August and students will be sent an email to let them know they won the SHaRE VIP parking space.

Students must have a $0 balance at the time of the drawing or will be disqualified.  Students must also have a registered vehicle.


We do not have a deadline to apply for Housing. Completed applications are processed in the order received.  Housing assignments are first come, first reserve. So, complete it as soon as possible. Rooms are not guaranteed and are based on availability and your ability to pay. Students can log in and go to the Application Status page for updates. 



Important Dates

  • August 8 payment deadline
  • August 12 & 13 - Fall 2019 Move In 9am - 3pm. Please plan accordingly to complete your move in process during those times. – No early or weekend move in

Your Housing Portal Log in is the same as your student email credentials but your housing portal username does not contain the @ggc.edu.

We are delighted that you are considering living on campus at Georgia Gwinnett College. Whether you are a freshman, upperclassman, or transfer student, on-campus housing has something to offer everyone. Living at GGC affords you the complete college experience because you are close to everything you need to succeed such as your classroom, the library, dining facilities, programs, and services.  Living at GGC is more than a place to sleep and stash your stuff. It is about living in a community and learning about yourself and the people around you. 

Follow the steps below to apply.  It is best to do the steps in order but it is not required.

  1. Get accepted to GGC (if you are a new student) You must have a GGC email and password.
  2. Complete your FAFSA (*Does not apply to international students on non-immigrant visas.)
  3. Get Advised and Register for classes when registration begins for the upcoming semester and attend an Orientation, if you are a new student.
  4. Review the information on our webpage, which includes floor plans, prices and ways to pay, then log in above to the application portal to begin your application. You must complete the following to be considered for Student Housing.
  • Print, sign (no electronic signatures accepted) and upload the Background Check Consent form. The form must be uploaded as a PDF file (Student must have a clean background to reside in GGC Student Housing).
  • Pay the $250 non-refundable application fee with a credit card on the portal (for Fall and Spring only) 
  • Sign your Housing Contract
